Q.N. As an assignment for English, we had to write a poem with a minimum of fifteen lines. I thought it was the perfect opportunity to try something different and decided to write it according to my third series. The thing is, is that I got too into writing it that I ended up write 60 lines! I'd give it all to you Letting go of me Reaching as I fall I know it's already over now Nothing left to lose Loving you again I know it's already over, already over now 'Already Over'~Red Already Over Dad's gone...again; he's been doing that a lot lately. He makes sure my sister and I are in bed, then he leaves...again. Sydney always goes to get him up; he sleeps later now; we don't have breakfast as a family anymore. His behavior habits have changed also; he's more fidgety and anxious now, so unlike him. He loses his train of thought more each day and seems more scatterbrained. Maybe he's just sick, stressed even... What if he's seeing Mom in secret? That would be awesome! They could fall back in love and get remarried. Dad could convince Sophia to let Mom come home, so she wouldn't be exiled...but shouldn't they be crowned king and queen? Eh, doesn't really matter I guess; they wouldn't be comfortable ruling over everyone, especially Mom. But, if they are together, they have to be careful. Sophia might sentence them to death if caught. Alarms start blaring loudly, and lights flash irregularly. That's not right, something is wrong here. Dad is running down the hall with Mom, both looking worried; he's carrying Serenity. My sister is crying, wanting my mom. My parents stop long enough for Mom to hold Serenity, Dad tugging at my arm, ordering me to run. The look in his eyes and the firmness in his voice motivate me. We're all running now, except for my little sister, who's being carried by Mom. Mom looks horrified and afraid; I hear the running of soldiers, who are quickly picking up speed. My dad tells me to run faster; I do. We run into the garden, we're trapped. I see Sydney beckoning to us, shouting for us to hurry. We do. Mom's still trying to calm Serenity down... she fails miserably. The guards burst in. The guards shoot twice; something hits my sister and my father. Mom hands Serenity to Dad; she and I continue running, though she keeps looking back. Mom is trying to hand me something; a sword. She pulls her sais out, ready for battle. Sophia jumps in front of us, striking Mom, the sound revolting. I feel something sharp pierce my back; I can't move. I fall to the ground, pulling a dart from my back. I'm crying...Sophia shoots my mom point blank; she falls. The battle, quick but fierce, is over. The light is giving into darkness; I'm yawning. Am I dying? Is my family dead? I'm closing my eyes...I don't want to die... 'Already Over' is by Red.
